Revolution Printing Guide
Transfer Printing
Suitable for:
- Shorter print runs.
- Photographic print.
- Cost effective simple names and numbers.
How does it work?
There are five types of Transfer Printing - Hot Split, Cold Peel, Vinyl Cut, Digital Screen Transfer (DST) and UV Digital
Hot Split Transfers
Hot split transfers provide a soft feel print closest to a traditional t-shirt screen print and more durable than cold peel but without the need to have screen print equipment. Suitable for soft cotton surfaces such as T-Shirts and Sweatshirts.
Cold Peel Transfers
Cold Peel is a technique for textiles where Hot Split is not suitable such as Caps, Nylon bags, Jackets, Polo shirts etc.
DST Transfers
Digital Screen Transfers allow for full-colour photographic reproduction of an image on your garment.
UV Digital
Similar to DST Transfers but with brighter, longer lasting, more durable colours. We can also cut the transfer to any shape required.
Vinyl Cut Transfers
An ideal solution for someone looking to print individual names and numbers for their shirts with a simple one or two colour design. It is suitable for short print runs of 10 garments or less and offers a cost-effective solution with no set-up costs.
